Business Analyst & Consultant
Key Responsibilities:
  • To conduct business analysis and requirement study, to document requirement and functional specification, and to liaise with users and developers on requirement validations in new system implementation, business process improvement initiatives or system enhancement projects.
  • To prepare test plan and test scripts, to perform internal testing, to manage User Acceptance Testing and assist in test reporting in IT system implementation projects.
  • To conduct research on solution, strategy and case studies on related business areas and system functionalities.
  • To perform user and system administration.
  • To provide user and system support for production systems in accordance to service level agreement.
  • To plan, execute, manage and support social media implementation initiatives.
Key Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Degree or equivalent on Business Information Technology, Software Engineering or Business Administration with Computing/IT.
  • Preferably 1 to 3 years (for Analyst) or 4 to 5 years (for Consultant) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably with experience in end-user/customer service support and/or IT system project implementation.
  • Team player with positive attitude, committed to quality deliverables, eager to know about new technology and developments in IT and business, fun to work with.
  • Independent with high self-discipline, strong common sense and leadership capabilities; able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Added advantages: relevant working experience in Financial, Insurance and Takaful industry, knowledge/strong interest in Web 2.0 technology and popular social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
